A fundamental misconception about AI is that it's an IT or software or digital skill.
Making the most of Copilot/ChatGPT/Gemini etc. is a linguistic skill, but at its core it is about self-knowledge:
- do I know what is that I don't know?
- am I ready to be challenged?
- am I open to new ideas?
- where do I draw the line between cognitive outsourcing and self-confidence?
Effective use of AI tools largely depends on improving on these.
