“Evidence-based policy making” only works if the evidence is reliable, meaning, ideally, that it is not provided by a terrorist organization and then endorsed by a flawed international organization for 8 months. For those blinded by their ideological bias or racist prejudice, it doesn’t matter anyway. (And even these figures are likely still exaggerated.)
