US Presidential election debates are usually fun and entertaining political communication shows. The one last night was painful on many levels, not only for seeing that “the emperors are naked” (not a pleasant experience in the first place) but also because the world needs a strong and democratic USA with leaders who are morally and cognitively up to the job. As a European with a lot of respect for the country and connection with so many wonderful Americans, I just wish a good/better way forward come this November. We need you to rediscover your roots, integrity, and strength.
